LBPMiOS #? - Slow Jams

LPMiOS

#344 - You know how when you’re fourteen years old, you think it’s a good idea to download an hour and a half long radio program from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, so you can listen to it whenever you want? You will forget about doing that and it will come back to haunt you and everyone you love and Christie Hayden one day

#237 - William Basinski’s disintegration loops are/were, to avoid getting overly pretentious, super meaningful to my friend and I when I was 17. He was drunk one night and I played this to try to go to sleep and he basically went on about what life is like and blah blah blah, teenagers. As for the music, William Basinski was transferring old tape loops to digital tracks, and recorded them as they degraded. Some within 5 minutes, others after an hour and a half. Regardless, it’s very good music to clean your room to.

#227 - Did you guys know that every single band formed between 2002 and 2005 is named after either a Cap’n Jazz song or lyric?

#178, #1 in my heart

PMiOS 2k11 Pt.II

I’m 4 days in and all that’s happened is my iPod has played me a lot of things I hadn’t listened to in a long time, and the only visceral reactions I’ve had were wanting to skip both a Bob Dylan cover and a Radiohead song that wasn’t off of Kid A. Which seem like very normal things, so I guess I haven’t really learned that much about myself.

Midlife Crisis

I woke up and had a giant headache so for my birthday present to myself I am going to put my iPod on shuffle again, apparently for the next 42 days according to iTunes. iCan’t imagine how excited everyone is for this, especially after this was the first track
